Promoting Competitiveness in Open Source Software

The client was eager to promote public policy of benefit to the open source community. It approached us with the question how it could best sketch out the economic impact of open source software in the U.S.

Our Contribution

We established the economic argument by illustrating how Open Source Software helps create jobs and by quantifying how many jobs Open Source Software is still to establish by 2020.


The report was used by policy advocates to advance the client’s position.
